Knowledge Disclaimer:

This blog is a synthesis of ideas and concepts that I have learned over the years. My purpose is to
share information, not make the ideas of others my own. So, here is a list of authors and scholars
from where my ideas originated. I highly recommend reading books and articles they’ve written
or listening to podcasts they participate in since all of their ideas are fascinating and
well-researched.

Policy Standards:

Every policy that I support or propose in these blog posts might have a very different effect when
translated from theory to implementation. In every stage of every policy, implementation
scientists should be heavily involved in the work to prevent and constructively respond to
adverse effects and unintended consequences. They should collaborate with governments and
other knowledgeable professionals and all of them should always do their jobs with empathy, and
the most potent combination of idealism and realism. Finally, all parties involved in massive
policy efforts must understand, as FDR did, that good policy comes from experimentation.
